Four Hundred Years of Practice

Lord Grey has lived for approximately four hundred years.

That's a very long time to learn how things work.

He's watched generations of humans come and go, and while the world around him has changed dramatically, people haven't changed nearly as much. Desire, ambition, jealousy, fear, attraction—we may dress them differently, but Grey has seen most of them before.

Four centuries of experience have given him a confidence that borders on arrogance. Grey generally assumes that when he wants an outcome, he'll get it. Most of the time, he does.

Sex is no exception.
